Why Speak and Ride?
We make language therapy happen in a natural learning environment.
Speak & Ride is a unique summer program that combines horseback riding with intensive speech-language therapy in a country stable setting.
Our approach focuses on setting individual goals and incorporating therapy into this back-to-nature experience. A horse stable is an ideal environment for fostering speech-language development. Children participate in a variety of activities and build self esteem as well as confidence. We emphasize safety and enjoyment as your child learns.
Our unique approach incorporates your child’s individual goals into their adventures at the stables. Throughout each day there is a focus on each child’s speech and language development.
Program Coordinator, Sarah Aljas and other Speech-Language Pathology staff at Anderson Speech Consultants actively participate in our Speak & Ride Program.
