Pediatric Physiotherapy Services
Are you concerned about your child’s gross motor development? Has your child been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy? Has your child been diagnosed with a Brachial Plexus Injury?
Pediatric Physiotherapy evaluates gross motor skills (the larger movements that a person makes using their arms and legs or entire body – e.g., crawling, walking, running, jumping, etc.)
We also assess posture, range of motion, muscle strength and tone, coordination, tolerances for certain positions, balance, and transitions between different surfaces.
These are skills and abilities that are important for everyday function and participation in daily activities. The aim of physiotherapy treatment is to maximize an individual’s potential for function.
