Art Therapy Services

Do you experience anxiety? Have self esteem issues? Recently experienced a loss?

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses visual arts as a major mode of expression. Within a confidential and creative space, the individual expresses his / her emotions artistically and verbally, allowing for a unique means of exploring one’s thoughts and feelings.

Artistic expression is used to help release emotions which are difficult to verbalize or have been suppressed over time. Art Therapists support children and adults living with:

  • Anxiety
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Difficulties with bullying
  • Grief and bereavement
  • Depression
  • Addictions
  • Trauma

Art therapy explores a wide range of mediums such as: paint, pencil crayon, oil and chalk pastel, clay, glitter, charcoal, and collage. This allows for a client driven experience and enhances expression as every medium feels different to use. Services can be provided online or in-person.
