Speech-Language Therapy for Indigenous Youth
Anderson Therapy Services has been collaborating and working with Indigenous/First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities across Northern Canada, Ontario and Quebec.
Whether your child has difficulties in communicating or struggles with reading and writing, we provide unique services to best suit their learning style and needs. We provide a full range of speech, language literacy and cogntitive communication services for toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children and adolescents.
Our Speech-Language Pathology team consists of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDA). SLPs and CDAs help individuals across the lifespan to overcome communication, swallowing and feeding difficulties.
Our therapy services for Indigenous/First Nations, Intuit and Métis communities can be accessed in remote areas using our online videoconferencing technology as well as on-site visits. Our unique service delivery model, in partnership with communities, has helped many First Nations children and youth achieve success across various needs.

What We Do
Our clinicians will use a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques to help achieve your child’s speech-language goals. We always encourage families to seek early intervention; however, it’s never too late to seek services. Our team is prepared to help your child overcome their speech, language or literacy difficulties at any age.
Our SLPs and CDAs cater to the needs of the child and their family. Sessions are tailored to a child’s age and interests, and include a strong parental and teacher training component.
